Project: Ihana Helsinki (2016)

Production: Part of citywide art celebration

Location: Stockmann's department store, Helsinki

Premise: A celebration of the varied stories of those who walk Helsinki's streets...or at least those who visit the iconic Stockmann's downtown department store and stop to write about what makes them happy or unique. 10,000 live flowers. It was beautiful to see some patrons actually spend an hour (or in the case of the woman in the green sweater three hours) cutting flowers and placing them where they wished, most with notes added, some with not.
